Quality Hardwoods, Inc. produces approximately 5,300’ board feet per hour in our 50,000 square foot facility. We operate some of the most modern equipment.
The process begins at a dual head HMC debarker . Once the bark is removed, the log is sent to a 17 degree slant 7 foot optimized McDonough bandsaw. From here, the timbers go to a 6 foot McDonough linebar. The lumber goes to an optimized Valley edger that will handle approximately 12 pieces per minute. All the lumber flows to an HMC drop saw trimmer. Scrap pieces of lumber is chipped in a 66” Precision chipper.
