Our History

Established in 1973, Quality Hardwoods, Inc. is located in central Michigan, in the village of Sunfield.

We house a modern high-production band mill with the latest equipment to provide the best yield, increased grade recovery and the highest quality lumber possible. This in turn allows us to optimize the timber harvest for private individuals while at the same time providing high-quality materials to the flooring and furniture industries. Current production is approximately 12 million board feet per year.

Quality Hardwoods, Inc. is a member of the National Hardwood Lumber Association, the Michigan Association of Timbermen, the Indiana Hardwood Lumber Association, the Hardwood Manufacturers Association and the Lake States Lumber Association.
